PM Deuba, party leaders and EC officials discuss about round two election

KATHMANDU, June 15: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has held discussion with the office-bearers of the Election Commission (EC) being focused on the second phase of local elections.

The meeting being held at the Prime Minster’s office, Singha Durbar, has emphatically discussed the ways to materialize the efforts being taken by the political parties to forge consensus on second phase local level elections and make the elections free and fair.

Chief Election Commissioner and other commissioners are taking part in the meeting.

Also present on the occasion are CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel, general secretary Dr Shashanka Koirala, leaders Krishna Sitaula and Bimalendra Nidhi. RSS
