Jeep deployed for PM’s security meets accident

DHANGADHI, June 28: A jeep carrying a police team deployed for Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s security met with an accident at Phaltude of Kailali on the Dhangadhi-Dadeldhura (Bhimdutta) highway on Wednesday.

Nine police personnel sustained injuries when the jeep (Se 1 Ja 1503) overturned on the road. Among those injured, two are said to be slightly in serious condition, the District Police Office, Kailali stated.

The Prime Minister was coming towards Dhangadhi after casting vote in his home district Dadeldhura in the second round local election today. RSS
