The govt must focus on conducting remaining elections rather than amendment: Rayamajhi

Top Bahadur Rayamajhi

KATHMANDU, July 15: Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, leader of CPN (Maoist Center), has said that he was not lured by the minister’s chair.

“I have got the minister’s job several times. I don’t need to compete,” he said while speaking at an interaction program organized by the Reporters’ Club Nepal on Saturday.

“I am a deputy parliamentary party leader. I am in a position where I can recommend names of the minister.” he added.

Leader Ramajhi also expressed his belief that the government will get full shape in the next few days.

“All the agreements regarding ministries and the post have been made,” he added.

Rayamajhi also argued that the parties should not waste time in constitution amendment matters. “The government must focus its attention on conducting the third round of local election and remaining other election. It’s important.”

He however added that the government is bidding to get the amendment proposal endorsed through the parliament.
