KATHMANDU, July 22: ‘The 2nd Herald Management Festivals and Grand Motivational Seminar 2017′ is being held from July 24 to 25 at Nepal Academy Hall in Kamaladi and its periphery.

The Festival, being organized at the initiatives of Universal Teach Consult Pvt. Ltd (UTC), will carry the motto of ‘Quality Education in Nepal’, said Laxman Lamichhane, Managing Director of UCT organizing a press conference at Reporters’ Club Nepal on Saturday.

“Many students of Management faculty tend to seek higher education in abroad countries after completing class 12. Such trend is draining the Nepali investment in education and young talents to foreign countries. Our program will mainly be focused on consulting those students to join Management colleges in Nepal,” he said.

The two-day Festival will also give information about the top colleges in Nepal.

“We have top management colleges in Nepal as well which provide world class education. These colleges are up-to-date with latest changes and developments in technology, theory and research methods and provide internationally compatible education. Why go to abroad countries?,” added Lamichhane.

The Festival which will feature participation from more than 25 top colleges will also assist 12 passed students discover their potentials, interests and choose the right career direction.

Also speaking on the occasion, Prof. Kedar Nath Chhatkuli, Advisor of UTC said, “Every student has inner talents and aptitudes. But they need proper guidance from parents and teachers. The policy makers also have pivotal role in the shaping the career of a student. Thus, this program will motivate for the same in order to prepare successful and able manpower in the country.

Chhatkuli, also a professor at the Tribhuvan University also urged the colleges in Nepal in providing quality and help a student be an avid learner, critical  thinker and a competent individual.

The Management Festival will be inaugurated by the Former Prime Minister and CPN-UML senior leader Jhalanath Khalal, informed the organizers.

The programs include conducting information sharing programs and counseling sessions on the first day, while, a grand motivational session will be held on the second day.

Motivational guests like Gagan Thapa, former minister and youth leader, Banker Anil Shah, President of HISSAN Ramesh Silwal, Young Youth Motivator Saunak Bhatta, Actors Sittaram Kattel (Dhurmus) and Kunjana Ghimire (Suntali) among other guests will attend the program.
