Leftist alliance for political stability, prosperity: Chair Dahal

POKHARA, Oct 27: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said the leftist alliance was for political stability and prosperity in the country.

Inaugurating the 13th annual general assembly and fourth assembly of Lekhnath Small City Drinking Water and Sanitation Consumers Organization on Friday, Chairman Dahal stressed the need of political stability and strengthening of democracy, for the development activities could not move ahead in the country due without political stability.

He further said all should be united for the development and prosperity. According to him, a separate model of development could be forwarded in all seven provinces.

Saying the election to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies could not be postponed at any pretense, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Yagya Bahadur Thapa, said that the country has got new Civil Code as per the sentiments of federal democratic republic.

Similarly, CPN-UML leader Khagaraj Adhikari said that the organization has been successful to establish itself as a model organization.

Nepali Congress, Kaski, President Krishna KC, CPN (UML) District Chairman, Krishna Thapa, CPN (Maoist Center) District In-charge, Ramkaji Gurung, among others stressed on long-term development of drinking water project.
