Prosperous Nepal in 10 years: Minister Dahit

BARDIYA TO BE MADE A MODEL DISTRICT

BARDIYA, Nov 5: Minister for Land Reform and Management, Gopal Dahit, has said that Nepal would be made a prosperous country of Asia and Bardiya would be made a model district within 10 years if the Nepali Congress leads the government after the elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies.

At a program organized by Press Club of Nepal at Rajapur Municipality-2 on Sunday, Minister Dahit clarified that the country would be made prosperous from every aspect including education, roads, employment, business and health. Leader Dahit is contesting the upcoming parliamentary election from Bardiya constituency-2.

Expressing the view that the upcoming elections are linked with institutional development of democracy, prosperity, freedom and sustainable peace, he said that fundamental rights of all including poor- rich people, farmers- laborers, employees-teachers and businessmen-intellectuals would be protect and there would be self-respect only if the democratic forces win the elections.

Similarly, NC candidates to the election of State Assembly, Nachuram Tharu, proportional candidate to the House of Representatives, Malati Sodari, NC Bardiya Joint-Secretary, Premlal Tharu, among others requested all to make the NC victorious in the elections to empower youths, students, women, freed kamaiya, landless squatters and to save the democracy.
