UML’s Shrestha wins in Kathmandu-9

KATHMANDU, Dec 9: CPN-UML’s Krishna Gopal Shrestha won Kathmandu 9 seat in Parliament with a wide margin of vote. Shrestha garnered 22,852 votes, while his closest rival Nepali Congress’s Dhyan Gobinda Ranjit 14,802 votes. Bibeksheel Sajha’s Milan Pandey received 946 votes.
