UML’s Pokhrel wins in Dang-2 ‘A’

DANG, Dec 9: CPN-UML’s Shanker Pokhrel has secured victory in Province Assembly ‘A’ of Dang constituency 2. He got 20,723 votes to secure his victory. He defeated Kamal Kishor Sharma Ghimire of Nepali Congress, who only garnered 11,172 votes.

Likewise, Amar Bahadur Dangi of CPN (UML) has won the elections to the State Assembly in Dang-2 ‘B’ by securing 21, 450 votes. Dangi’s nearest rival Bharat Bahadur Neupane of Nepali Congress got 13,190 votes, Chief Election Officer of Dang Hemanta Rawal said.

The results of Dang-1 ‘A’,’B’ and and Dang-3 ‘A’, ‘B’ is yet to be published. It has been learned that left alliance is leading in all the remaining Assemblies except in Dang-3 ‘A’.
