UML’s Bhandari elected parliamentary member from Baitadi

BAITADI, Dec 9: CPN-UML’s left alliance candidate Damodar Bhandari has been elected as the House of Representative member form Baitadi district. Bhandari garnered 39,524 votes to defeat his contender from Nepali Congress Nar Bahadur Chand. Chand only got 28, 291 votes.

Likewise, UML’s Liladhar Bhatta has secured victory in Province Assembly ‘B’ of Baitadi. He garnered 20,318 votes to defeat Rastriya Prajatantra Party candidate Ganesh Chand who only got 15, 247 votes.

Similarly, in Baitadi ‘A’, CPN (Maoist Center)’s Prem Prakash Batta emerged victorious. He secured 18,093 votes while his contender from Nepali Congress got 15,126 votes.
