FSFN’s Yadav wins in Banke-2 ‘A’

BANKE, Dec 9: Federal Socialist Forum Nepal’s Bijaya Bahadur Yadav has secured victory in Province Assembly ‘A’ of Banke-2. Yadav garnered 11,574 votes while his rival Niranjan Singh Sijapati of Nepali Congress got 7,751 votes. CPN (Maoist Center)’s Kamata Khatik secured only 4,898 votes.

Likewise in Banke-2 ‘B’, Nepali Congress candidate Surendra Bahadur Hamal emerged victorious securing 9,211 votes. He defeated Bijaya Kumar Gupta of UML who got 8,432 votes.

Similarly, in Banke-1 ‘A’, Maoist Center’s Krishna KC secured victory with 13, 436 votes to defeat Nepali Congress’ Sharad Chandra Verma who garnered 10,240 votes.

Vote counting of Banke-1 ‘B’ is yet to get started.
