UML’s Pandey wins in Palpa
PALPA, Dec 10: CPN-UML’s Som Prasad Pandey representing the left alliance won a parliamentary seat from Palpa-2. He garnered 34,899 votes, while his closest contender Nepali Congress’s Hari Prasad Nepal 24,554 votes.
Likewise, UML’s Dr Puran Bajracharya claimed Palpa 2 ‘A’ Provincial Assembly seat by defeating his nearest rival NC’s Madhav Nepal.
Bajracharya received 18,042 votes, while Nepal 4,572 votes. CPN (Maoist Center)’s Tularam Gharti representing the left alliance won Palpa 2 ‘B’ Provincial Assembly seat. He secured 16,422 votes, while his nearest rival NC’s Ram Karki 11,496 votes.
Similarly, in Palpa-1 ‘B’, CPN-UML’s Narayan Acharya representing the left alliance secured victory. He got 14,466 votes, while his nearest rival Nepali Congress’s Dan Bahadur Pachhai 10,501 votes. RSS
