Prabhu Shah victorious in Rautahat-3

RAUTAHAT, Dec 10: CPN (Maoist Center)’s left alliance candidate Prabhu Shah has been elected as the House of Representative member from Rautahat constituency-3. Shah defeated Sunil Kumar Yadav of Nepali Congress securing 27,799 votes while Yadav received 18,206 votes. Om Prakash of Rastriya Janata Party Nepal got only 6,096 votes.

Likewise, in Rautahat constituency-2, Nepali Congress candidate Mohammad Aftab Aalam secured a seat in federal parliament. He defeated Kiran Kumar Shah of Federal Socialist Forum Nepal. Aalam received 18,833 votes while Shah got 9,797 votes.

RJPN’s Anil Kumar Jha already secured victory in constituency no 1 of Rautahat.
