Oli, Dahal meet; discuss govt formation, party unification
KATHMANDU, Dec 26: CPN-UML Chair KP Oli and CPN (Maoist Center) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal has held a meeting at the former’s residence in Balkot on Wednesday.
Dahal had reached Balkot today afternoon to discuss with Oli about the new government formation, party unification, National Assembly Election ordinance and other contemporary issues.
During the one-hour long meeting, the two leaders reached an agreement to hold party unification coordination committee meeting within a couple of days to accelerate the unification process, said Oli’s press coordinator Chetan Adhikari.
Oli and Dahal also concluded that the incumbent Nepali Congress led government should pave way for the formation of new government and stressed on withdrawing the Ordinance.
Quoting Oli, Adhikari said, “The government must make effort to end the stalemate over the National Assembly Election Ordinance, or else the Ordinance should be withdrawn.”
