No dillydallying in advancing process for industries: Oli

KATHMANDU, Feb 11: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli on Sunday stressed the need for ending the trend of dillydallying in the process of establishing industries.

Now, time has come for the test and use of a project for the development and prosperity of the country, forget the trend of wait and see, he said.

The former prime minister was inaugurating the 37th annual general assembly of the Management Association of Nepal in the Capital City.

On the federal setup, the former Prime Minister said there is no alternative to implementing the new system with experiences gained on the way.

“We should accelerate our pace to the road of political and economic aspects of the country. Our aspirations, needs and plans should base development and prosperity,” he said.

On the occasion, Secretary of the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Cooperatives Gopi Nath Mainali underscored the need for building economic structure and organization, quality in infrastructure, the use of responsible human resources and expertise and necessary help and cooperation from the private sector to achieve the development goals

Informing that Nepal has made a big achievement in the way to achieve the MDGs, Valerie Julliand, the UNDP Resident Representative in Nepal emphasised peace, coordination and plan to achieve the sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Likewise, former secretary Krishna Gyawali said that there is no to be too worried or too excited while analyzing the socio-economic grounds of Nepal.

Similarly, economist Jayandra Shrestha said that political management is the topmost challenge to address the people’s expectations for development and prosperity.

On the occasion, Chairman of Nepal Management Association Sushil Bhatta and Vice-Chairman Rajendra Pandit said that management of many things would be easier along with the implementation of federalism.

Speaker at the program suggested that healthy competition was needed among the local levels to advance the nation towards development and prosperity. RSS
