Unification before third week of March: Chair Dahal

ACHHAM, March 2: CPN (Maoist Center) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said the unification with CPN-UML would be announced before the third week of March.

In a press meet organized by the Press Center Nepal at Ramaroshan in the district on Friday, Chair Dahal clarified that there were no hindrances for the unification bid, therefore, it would get concrete shape soon.

On another note, Dahal, also the former Prime Minister, shared that the Cabinet would be expanded very soon. He also said the country was moving on the way to socialism, as the three tiers of governments (federal, provincial and local) were in place to expedite development activities in the country.

Chair Dahal also opined for developing of Ramaroshan area as the ‘war tourism’ because the area was the base zone of a decade-long Maoist insurgency. RSS
