NC CWC meeting rescheduled for May 4
KATHMANDU, April 30: The meeting of the Nepali Congress Central Working Committee, summoned for Monday at 8:30 am was called off and rescheduled for May 4 at 2: 00 pm, accordinto to NC central office chief secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel.
In today’s meeting, party president Sher Bahadur Deuba was expected to nominate party office bearers and it has been believed that it was adjourned by few days due to dissatisfaction of the party factions close to senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel and former party general secretary Krishna Prasad Sitaula.
Both factions earlier announced to boycott the meeting, accusing the party leadership of calling the meeting without discussions.
The NC is yet to nominate party office bearers though two years have been already elapsed since the completion of the party general convention. As per the party statute, it should be done within the two months of the general convention.
