Thai Prime Minister arrives for BIMSTEC
KATHMANDU, Aug 30: Prime Minister of Thailand Prayut Chan-o-cha has arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday morning to attend the Fourth Summit meeting of Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC).
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Ishwar Pokharel received him at Tribhuvan International Airport. A contingent of Nepalese Army had presented a guard of honor to the Thai dignitary.
Chief of Protocol Deepak Adhikari, Thailan’d ambassador to Nepal Bhakavat Tanskul and Nepal’s ambassador to Thailand Khaganath Adhikari also welcomed the Thai Prime Minister.
