Dahal, Singh talk on Nepal’s economic development, prosperity

KATHMANDU, Sept 7: Chairperson of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Home Minister of India Rajnath Singh on Friday held a meeting in New Delhi on cooperation between both Nepal and India for Nepal’s economic development and prosperity.

NCP Chair Dahal is on an official visit to India. During the meeting, former Prime Minister Dahal stressed the need for enforcing agreements between Nepal and India effectively, said Dahal’s Secretariat.

He also drew the attention of Home Minister Singh to the reports of Nepali immigrants returning home to Nepal being harassed along the border.

In response, Home Minister Singh assured of addressing the issue by directing security officials along the border to do the needful. RSS
