Municipality claims of sending every child to school

MAHENDRANAGAR, Sept 15: The Mithila municipality has declared that no children of school going age are out of school.

This was announced by Mayor Hari Narayan Mahato at a program organized to mark the Children’s Day at Dhalkebar on Friday. He also claimed that the municipality was the first to complete the school enrolment campaign initiated by the government.

Mayor Mahato also said that the next priority of the municipality was to make it fully literate in the next few years.

Deputy Mayor Tara Basnet Lama said that the municipality was running a program with a special focus on educating daughters. RSS
