Nepal-India Friendly Mushaira concludes in Sunsari



Inaruwa, Nov 19 : For the first time, the literati and the literature lovers at Harinagar Rural Municipality in Sunsari district witnessed a Mushaira held in their locality. 

Mushaira is a poetic session. It is a literary artistic presentation of sentiments that was originally a beloved part of the culture of Pakistan, North India and the Deccan.

A Nepal-India Friendly Mushaira was organized today at Bhutaha, Ramnagar of Harinagar Rural Municipality-1 in the district jointly by the local level units and Hari Nagar Rural Municipality.

Various social organizations including Alliance Nepal (AC) had supported the event that kicked off from Sunday, according to the organizer.

Various poets from Nepal and India had recited their poems and sayar, offering the audiences a literary delight, shared AC’s President Naeem Ansari.

Apart from poems, Ansari added that the participants had also presented gazhals, jokes, and songs among others not only in Nepali and Hindi languages but also in Urdu, Arabic, Maithali, Bhojpuri, Tharu among other languages. (RSS)
