Sports in high priority: Chief Minister Rai

Biratnagar, Dec 14 : Chief Minister of Province-1 Sherdhan Rai has said the provincial government has highly prioritized the sports sectors.

CM Rai said this while signing a MoU between the provincial government and All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) to organize chief minister cup football tournament. CM Rai and ANFA Chair Karma Singh Sherpa signed the MoU.

As per the agreement, the provincial government will provide financial assistance of Rs 10 million to the ANFA to organize the championship every year for five years.

A total of 16 groups from seven provinces, six clubs from ‘A Division League’ and three from foreign invitee team will participate in the CM championship.
