Education sector should not be profit oriented: Education Minister

KATHMANDU, Feb 4: Minister for Education, Science and Technology Giriraj Mani Pokharel has said that the education should not be profit oriented.

Speaking during a program at Chandragiri based Pranidhi Secondary School in the district on Sunday; Minister Pokharel argued that the education sector should be oriented to produce human resources required for nation building and development.

He also stressed on promoting quality education for the holistic development of the nation.

The school building was constructed in the financial assistance of Japan. RSS
