India has no interest in Nepal’s internal affairs: Gadkari
NEW DELHI, May 26: India has no interest in Nepal’s internal affairs, said Nitin Gadkari, Indian Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Shipping and Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation.
“Nepal’s policies, its religious position…these are Nepal’s internal affairs. India has no interest in such affairs,” said Gadkari, talking to Rishi Dhamala in New Delhi.
“India only wants Nepal’s rapid progress and development, and the Indian government is always ready to extend assistance,” he added.
According to Gadkari, India-Nepal bilateral relationship will be more positive as Prime Minister is set to lead the government for another term.
Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party won the Indian General Elections, which concluded recently, with 303 seats. BJP-led alliance won 353 seats.
