Oli-Dahal agreement has not formally entered party committees: Rayamajhi
KATHMANDU, July 1: Nepal Communist Party leader Top Bahadur Rayamajhi has said that the agreement between Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli and Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal to head the government turn by turn has not formally entered in the party committees.
“I heard about the agreement from media sources. Few days after Dahal revealed about the agreement that he and Oli will head the government based on equality, he, himself, said Oli will become prime minister for full five year term,” said Rayamajhi talking to Rishi Dhamala in a radio interview Nepali Bahas broadcast on Nepali Radio Network.
“But the issue has not been formally raised and discussed in party committees. Therefore I cannot say anything about the agreement.”
“What should we believe?”
“But, if they have reached the deal to become prime minister for equal period of time, the agreement should be implemented.”
