A 17 second clip is making the rounds of social media which shows former Crown Prince manhandling a police officer at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
Pro-monarchists can be heard chanting, ” Long Live Monarchy”, in the background while the Prince briskly steps forward to confront the police officer.
However it is uncertain at this point what drove the former Crown Prince to lose his cool.
According to reports available, Former Crown Prince Paras and his family erstwhile royals, were present to see off Former Queen her Royal Highness Komal Shah to Bangkok. His son Prince Hridayendra and Princess Prerna Shah, along with Nephew Parthak Singh were present at her departure.
This incident happened just a day after the Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli addressed the Parliament where he had warned to take action if the pro-monarchy forces posed a threat to the constitution, democratic values and the republic.
It is uncertain as to why the Prince is dejected and aggressive, more details are required to bring the entire matter to light. The 17 second clip only shows what happened during that particular time frame.
