NCP rejects Prabhu Sah’s resignation

Prabhu Shah

KATHMANDU, Aug 27: The ruling Nepal Communist Party has rejected the resignation tendered by Province 2 chief Prabhu Sah.

Sah had tendered his resignation from the position on August 20 expressing dissatisfaction with the party’s leadership.

Sah’s resignation was discussed in the party secretariat meeting today. The party did not accept his resignation and asked him to return to work, said General Secretary Bishnu Paudel.

Sah’s discontent with the leadership came after the party selected the members of the provincial committee and officials of the district committee with even consulting him.

“The party leadership is working to solve the issue raised by Sah,” added Paudel.
