Mayor Shakya ‘admitted to hospital’

KATHMANDU, Oct 3: Kathmandu Metropolitan City mayor Bidya Sundar Shakya has been admitted to hospital.

He was admitted to Blue Cross Hospital located in Tripureshwor on Thursday morning after he showed symptoms of dengue fever, according to the hospital source, as reported by Hamrodoctornews.com.

Dr. Khagendra Bahadur Shrestha and Dr. TriLokinath Gupta are treating the mayor.

However, the mayor’s secretariat has shared no information about Sakhya’s health.
