Do not hasten for cabinet reshuffle advises former PM Madhav Nepal

KATHMANDU, Oct 16: Former Prime Minister and senior leader of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Madhav Kumar Nepal has suggested the NCP leadership not to hasten toward the cabinet reshuffle. Several other leaders within the party and members of the secretariat have similar opinions.

Former PM Nepal has advised the leadership of Chair duo current Prime Minister K.P.Sharma Oli and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal to wait until the by-elections are over. Former PM Nepal speaking at a tea reception of the NCP on the occasion of Dashain and upcoming Tihar festival stated that any reshuffle before the election will have an impact on the upcoming elections.

On the other hand, after receiving information regarding the Cabinet reshuffle, leaders within the NCP have begun actively lobbying for positions, and it is likely that there are new faces to be inducted in the cabinet.
