Home Minister Thapa leaves for China

KATHMANDU, Jan 5: Minister for Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa has left for Beijing on Sunday for a six-day official visit.

The home minister is visiting China at the invitation of the Chinese Public Security Ministry.

During his stay in China, Minister Thapa will hold meetings with the Chinese Public Security Minister, high-level government officials and leaders of the Chinese Communist Party.

Thapa is accompanied by his security advisor Dr. Indrajit Rai, Spokesperson at Home Ministry Kedarnath Sharma, DIG of Nepal Police Surya Prasad Upadhyay.
