Dozen leaders of different parties from Dhanusha join UCPN (Maoist)

KATHMANDU: A large number of Madhesi leaders from different parties including the Nepali Congress, CPN (UML) and Madhes-based parties from Dhanusha district joined the UCPN (Maoist) today at a program organized at the Maoist central office.

Popular leader of Dhanusha Hari Dev Mandal led the new entrants. Mandal is the former district chairman of the CPN (UML).

On the occasion, Chairman Pushpa Kamal Prachanda expressed happiness to the trend of people joining the Maoist and said this has increased party’s responsibility to Madhes. 

On the occasion, Prachanda said that there was no problem in the party regarding portfolio division. He also said that the party headquarters was working hard to adjust the leaders’ portfolio division amicably.
