International flights briefly halted

Kathmandu, March 14: International flights to and from Tribhuvan International Airport briefly halted Monday due to high wind.

Some international aircrafts were taken on hold in air for around an hour and a half after wind disrupted the runway, while two others were redirected elsewhere, said general manager at TIA Dewananda Upadhyay.
He said that air Arabia was redirected to Lucknow in India and Korean air to Bangkok. He, however, informed that flights resumed later.
