KATHMANDU, Sept 9: The government’s investment in the education sector should be productive and result oriented, said President Bidya Devi Bhandari.

Speaking at a function organized on the occasion of the 40th National Education Day at Seetal Niwas on Sunday, Prez Bhandari highlighted the need of the socio-economic transformation and employment and expressed hope that the policy reforms would help enhance the quality of education in the country.

“Coordination and collaboration between the federation, province and local level will help consolidate the public education system,” Bhandari added.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister for Education, Science and Technology Girirajmani Pokharel said the government has put transformation in public education a high priority and is working to create an environment where graduates can contribute by working in the country itself. RSS
