PAC directs govt to sack NTB chief Niroula

Kathmandu, October 22.  The Public Accounts Committee ( PAC ) under the Legislature-Parliament directed the Ministry of Tourism to suspend officiating Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), Subash Niraula, for his alleged involvement in financial irregularities.

A meeting of the committee on Wednesday also directed the government to sack Niraula from the director post also. The committee has also directed the ministry to take action against NTB’s board members through Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) for their involvement in institutional corruption.
