Four die while scaling Everest in this season



Kathmandu, May 24: As many as four people have died in course of scaling the Mt Everest, the highest peak of the world so far in this season, said Department of Tourism, Everest Base Camp sources.

The deceased are Phurba Sherpa, 24, Arik Arnold, 39, of France, Maria Strich of Australia and Indian national Subas Paul. It is noted that over 200 mountaineers so far since 1953 have lost their life in course of scaling the Everest. RSS
