Former NRNA vice-president Shah joins Congress

Kathmandu:  Former vice-president of Non Nepal Resident Association (NRNA), Rameshwar Shah, has joined Nepali Congress (NC).
NC president Koirala has provided party’s general membership to the newly entrant Shah amid a programme held at his own residence Maharajgunj today.
Shah, a businessman in Middle East, was an aspirant for the president of the NRNA, who later withdrew his candidacy to lend his support to the incumbent president Shesh Ghale.
Speaking at a programme to welcome his entry, Shah claimed that the economic prosperity in the nation was only possible through the principle, policy and ideology of the NC. “The party is in favour of democracy, peace and development and it also practices what it preach, so there is nationwide wave in favor of the NC,” said NRN Shah.
