Supreme Court orders RR Campus to hold FSU election

KATHMANDU, March 16: The Supreme Court on Wednesday issued an interim order in the name of RR Campus administration and Chief District Officer of Kathmandu, asking them to hold the election of free students’ union.

A single bench of Justice Ishwori Prasad Khatiwada issued the order.

Candidate of the chairman of the free student union at RR Campus, Tapendra Bahadur Sahi, had filed a writ petition at SC on March 6 demanding election after it was postponed at the last hour, citing the code of conduct of the local election. RSS
