KATHMANDU, April 24: CPN-Maoist Center leader Top Bahadur Rayamajhi has claimed the revised amendment bill would give outlet to the nation and that UML’s objection over the bill was irrelevant and meaningless.

Speaking during an interaction program organized by the Reporters’ Club Nepal on Monday he viewed that opposition UML should also cooperate the bill to get it endorsed through the parliament as it was aimed to bring all the political discontentment to an end.

“I wonder why UML is objecting the revised bill,” said Rayamajhi.

Clarifying that there was no interrelation between local polls and budget announcement, he said that announcing the budget on May 29 would not affect the second phase local polls scheduled for June 14.

He added, “The government is very sincere towards the demands of UML.”
