We won’t support to Oli’s PM ambition: Mahato

KATHMANDU, JAN 09 . Chairman of Sadvawana Party , Rajendra Mahato , has expressed his bitterness at CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli for insulting the Madhesi people. He said the Madhesi Morcha will not support Oli in his ambition to become the prime minister.

Speaking at the interaction program organized by the Reporters’ Club Nepal on Friday, Chairman Mahato has said that the Morcha decided not to support Oli in his election for the post of prime minister at any cost as the UML chairman’s remarks have belittled the entire Madhes and its dwellers.

He said that he has sensed the conspiracy to monopolise the Madhes by people from only one or two castes. He said that the Madhes-based parties will not attend any political meeting with major parties unless Oli seeks apology from them, said at the program presided by the Club’s President Rishi Dhamala.

Mahato reiterated that no portion of Madhes land should be incorporated into any hilly states while restructuring the country. “It is wrong to separate the lands of Madhes. Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari, Kailali and Kanchanpur cannot be separated from Madhes.

Mahato has said-“f these districts are separated from Madhes, a big war will take place.”
