Fire guts 7 houses in Eastern Nepal
KATHMANDU: More than half a dozen houses have been gutted in fire and one person was injured when fire broke out this morning at Bramhapur VDC in Saptari district.
Seven houses of four families were gutted at 3:00 am today from the fire that sparked from the fire made in the cow-shed of Bindeswor Jha of Bramhapur VDC -5.
His son Shubhachandra Jha, 30, was severely injured while putting out fire and is undergoing treatment at Pato Health Post, police said.
Property worth Rs 800,000 was gutted when two houses of Bindeswor Jha, two of Bimakant Jha and two of Indradev Saha were gutted, the police post Gamhariya Prabaha said adding that three cattle of Bindeswor Jha were also perished in fire.Police from Prabaha and locals took control of the fire. RSS
Political tensions force Madheshi leader to suicide
Kakadbhitta, Jhapa: Kailash Chaudhary, Central Chairman of the sister organization of the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (Bhagyanath Gupta Group), Madhesi Youth Forum (Madhes), committed suicide at 4:30 pm in his own bicycle shop on Saturday.
Chaudhary, 38, of Bhadrapur-8 hanged himself inside the shop, police said. Jaiswal is survived by wife and two sons. His wife and two sons had gone to Siliguri, India, their maternal home.
Police has found a note from the room on Monday, the next day of suicide. According to family source, he was in tension from political issues for the past few days. RSS
