Prachanda damn sure of resurrecting CA

KATHMANDU:  UCPN  Maoist Chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal has expressed confidence to gain political backing in resurrecting Constituent Assembly (CA).

Speaking at a program in Belgium organized by Nepalese immigrants, Dahal said that such an understanding would materialize around Tihar festival, due to next month.

Backing his proposal, which calls for resurrecting the CA and promulgating the new constitution by suspending all contentious issues, to be resolved later through referendum or through the elected House of Representatives.

He claimed that the CA election or any other election was not possible without amending constitution. On the occasion, Dahal also assured that his party wont got against its agenda of unitary identity based federalism.
