Reporters Club Nepal’s ‘consensus tea party’ on Saturday
KATHMANDU: The Reporters Club Nepal is hosting tea party on the occasion of Dashain, Tihar and Chaat festival in Kathmandu on Saturday.
The tea party will be organized at the Rashtriya Sabha Griha in Exhibition from 2 pm onwards informed club’s President Rishi Dhamala.
Dhamala said that the club intends to pile pressure on political leaders for garnering consensus and resolving impasse by bringing all of them into one place at the tea party.
Among others President Dr Ram Baran Yadav, Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai, UCPN Maoist chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal, Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala CPN UML Chairman Jhalnath Khanal, and other leaders of all political parties, bureaucrats, business persons, social activists, and people from various walks of life are expected to participate in the event.
