NEA gives new schedule for ‘darkness’
KATHMANDU: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has increased the present load shedding time by 13 hours per week from today.
The load-shedding hours reached 97 hours from from that of 84 hours, according to the NEA. As per the new load shedding routine, the commoners will have to remain in darkness for 14 hours a day. The receding level of water in the rivers and a 30-mega watt cut in power supply from India led to a further powe cut.
