UCPN (Maoist) top leaders addressing in Banepa and Lalitpur

KATHMANDU: The ruling UCPN (Maoist) is holding the district conventions of Lalitpur and Kavre districts today. Top leaders of the UCPN (Maoist) are attending the programs.

Maoist supremo Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Vice-chairman and Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai and another Vice-chairman Narayan Kaji Shrestha are addressing the party’s second Kavre District Convention in Banepa this afternoon.

After learning the Prime Minister’s district visit, the opposition parties’ cadres in Banepa have prepared anti-government demonstrations while thousands of Maoist cadres and YCL have also arrived Banepa from villages.

Likewise, the three leaders are also addressing the party’s District Convention, Lalitpur.
