Bird flu in another poultry farm in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: The central veterinary laboratory under the Directorate of Animal Health confirmed bird-flu virus at another poultry farm in capital city today. Doctors from the laboratory confirmed a strain of H5N1 in the poultry farm of Narayan Dahal at Nayapati. Earlier on Saturday, more than 2500 chickens were destroyed at Jitpur Phedi due to the H5n1.
