Nepal’s former prince Paras hospitalized following major heart attack in Bangkok


KATHMANDU: Nepal’s former prince Paras Shah has suffered a heart attack on Tuesday evening in his Bangkok residence. The former prince had been residing in the Thai capital for the past three years.

Following the cardian arrest the 42 year old former prince was rushed to the Samitivej Hospital, Nepal’s TV channel Kantipur reported. The report claimed that health condition of the deposed prince is critical.

Prior to this he was arrested by the Thai police on charges of possessing illegal drugs and vandalism in his rented apartment. Despised by his family and wife, he was living a solitary life in the luxurious Thai capital and was reported to be in dipression recently.

He was also under the supervision of a rehablitition center under orders from the Thai court.
