Gyanendra Shah cuts short his Simara stay

KATHMANDU: Former King Gyandendra Shah and wife Komal, who were living in Bara of Simara for two weeks, today returned capital by cutting short their stay after worsening health condition of their son Paras.

The Shahs had offered worshipped in different temples in Bara and Parsa, and also visited their relatives and well-wishers during their stay in Simara. The former king also watched the football matches of Simara Gold Cup.

Their son Paras is undergoing treatment at the Samitivej Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand, after suffering a heart attack last Tuesday.
On Monday, the hospital had issued a statement stating that the health condition of the ailing ex crown prince was stable but very critical after he developed a bleeding in stomach.
