Two dead in Itaharai road mishap

ITAHARI: A least two persons were killed on the spot and over six passengers have been injured in a bus accident this morning along the Koshi Highway in Sunsari this morning.

The deceased are Ishwor Luintel of Udayapur district and Jayeshwor Koirala of Dharan-8, police said. The passenger bus bearing Ko 1 Kha 1877 number plate overturned while trying to escape a collision with a cycle.

All the injured are undergoing treatment at B P Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.
