Gyanendra, Komal off to Thailand to meet Paras
KATHMANDU: Nepal’s dethroned king Gyanendra Shah and queen Komal Shah today left for Thailand to meet their ailing son Paras, who is receiving treatment at Bangkok-based Samitivej Hospital after suffering a serious cardiac problem.
The Shahs took a flight of Thai Airways at 2:00 pm today.
Paras’ kids Purnika, Kritika and Hridayendra also left for Thai capital to meet their father. Before leaving for Thailand, the former king told media that he was faithful to god and medicos’ capacity for his son’s treatment.
Doctors have been saying that the health condition of ex crown prince is critical but stable. Shah has been undergoing treatment at the hospital after a cardiac arrest over a week ago.
