Nepal’s top leaders sign a major deal ending 10-month long confusion
KATHMANDU: Ending a long political wrangling, Nepal’s four major political parties’ top leaders have signed an 11-point consensus deal today. As per the agreement, sitting Chief Justice would lead an 11-member election government. Former top bureaucrats
The Baburam Bhattarai-led government would approve a 25-point ordinance and political consensus.
President Dr Ram Baran Yadav would remove the legal and constitutional difficulties.
Present CJ Khil Raj Regmi would lead the Interim Election Council and the government would hold the fresh CA elections by June 21.
