Madhav Nepal wants to retain Jha in UML

BIRGUNJ: CPN (UML) senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the UML should reject the resignation tendered by the party’s seniormost leader from the Terai belt and his grievances should be addressed immediately.
At a press meet organised by Press Chautari, Parsa Chapter, in Birgunj, leader Nepal said the UML leaders should convince Jha and he should be retained in the party.

However, Jha has already ruled out possibility of joining the UML saying that the party, mostly dominated by hill Brahmins, was not ready to meet the people’s expectations for change.

Jha, a pillar in Madhes politics for UML, had quitted the party last week citing his serious dissatisfaction to his former party’s policy in Madhes and issues of federalism.
